The class must go on!
We were delighted to attend this year’s New technologies in education fair organized by British Council to showcase modern classroom design. The classroom is based on zero client technology and desktop virtualization. On professor and student desks we placed zero clients instead of regular desktops, which were connected to server locked in secured office. The devices were ready-for-service in matter of seconds, maintenance is reduced to minimum, and the class can roll more efficiently.
The interest from visitors was overwhelming. It is clear that inadequate use of technology (like basic desktops etc) can be not only inefficient, but frequently counterproductive as it can cause discontent with both professors and students as well. Our goal is to bring more advanced and, above all, more suitable technologies in order to offer highest quality schooling for all the participants. We achieved that with our modern classroom design.
